What To Expect On Your First Visit

As a church our main goal is to please Christ in everything we do. As a result, every service is an opportunity for an inspiring time of worship. If you’re like most people, you may have questions as to what a service at Home Line Baptist Church might be like. So what can you expect from a service at Home Line?

What are the services like?
Every service at Home Line is carefully planned so that you will have a great church experience. All of our church services are traditional. The services begin with uplifting music, prayer and a time of greeting followed by a practical message from the Bible.

What should I wear?
There is not a dress code at Home Line Baptist Church for members or guests. Our ministry leaders and many of our church family dress in more traditional “Sunday” dress; however, our main goal is that you would feel welcome and comfortable on your visit with us.

Am I Expected to Participate in the Offering?
No. We don’t invite you to Home Line Baptist Church for your offering. We want our service to be a gift to you. We hope you will find in this place a warm family spirit, truth from God’s Word and a place where you can grow in God’s grace. Please don’t feel any obligation to participate in the offering as a guest.

Will I be asked to do anything?
Everyone who attends Home Line receives a Welcome card and a homemade pie delivered to your home. We would appreciate it very much if you would fill out the visitor’s card with as much information as you feel comfortable giving. We would love to be able to send you a thank you note or email for attending. At no time will you be asked to introduce yourself or do anything that will be embarrassing.

Where do we go?
Just come down the driveway and follow the signs to the auditorium. One of our ushers will greet you and direct you to the nursery, Sunday School classes, or Children’s Church if needed.
